I was saddened by the news that Mike Prehn had passed away. We were friends in grade school and through high school. We also did many "extra-curricular" activities together, including scouting in Algonquin Troop #151.
Sadly, we lost touch with each other. It was shocking to learn that he has been gone since 2014, and I just found out.
I am posting this image from 1964 as a way to remember him, and pray for his soul. That's Mike on the far right and his brother Timmy, with Tony Gumma and yours truly.
It reminds me to make increasing efforts to seek out friends and family members who I haven't spoken with in a long tine, before it's too late.

Rest in Peace Mike . . .
